HALLOWEEN

Halloween went great this year. Elia was really into trick-or-treating and had a blast getting lots of candy. We started out the night by walking with Elia's best friend Mason. They had a lot of fun running up to the houses together. Mason tired out but Elia wanted to keep going. She did so well and I think really enjoyed Halloween this year. Emma had fun going trick-or-treating too but still didn't really get what was happening. She did however find some suckers in her pumpkin and had a blast opening some and eating them. :) After trick-or-treating the girls had fun handing out candy.

BOO at the Zoo and Neighborhood Halloween Party

Last week Friday the girls and I went to the Toledo zoo for BOO at the zoo. It was a beautiful day and we had a lot of fun. There were a lot of people there but the girls got a lot of goodies and were able to play some games. Elia really enjoyed the Fisher Price tent that had toys and power wheels to try out. The next day our neighborhood had the annual Halloween party in the park. Elia and Emma had a lot of fun and collected some more goodies.

1 year appointment

Emma had her one year appointment yesterday and she is doing fantastic.  She is right on track developmentally and even advance in some areas.  The doctor was very impressed and said Emma is doing great.  We have another long girl in the family.  Emma measured 32 inches and weighed 21 lbs 11oz.  She is in the 99% for length and 56% for weight.  At the rate the girls are growing they are going to be taller than their mama by the time they are 10(haha).  Emma did receive 3 shots yesterday.  Luckily, we did her flu shot a couple of weeks ago when we were there or she would of had 4!  She was having some issues today from the shots I think because she was very snuggly and would not let mommy put her down.  Hopefully by tomorrow she will be back to her normal silly self.

First Birthday Party

Emma had a wonderful first birthday party with lots of family. She was spoiled and loved so much the whole day. Thank you to everyone who helped celebrate Emma's special day!

Emma's First Birthday

Emma had a great first birthday! Elia had school that morning and then we went to Mc Donalds for lunch with some friends. Emma had fun playing with the kids in the play area. Then when Jeff got home we opened presents which Emma really had no interest in pulling on the wrapping paper. Luckily big sister was there to help. :) After presents we headed to Chili's for dinner. Emma had fun and liked that they sang to her and really enjoyed her ice cream sundae. After dinner we headed home and had cupcakes. Emma definitely loves her sweets. It was a fun day and it is so hard to believe that Emma is one already!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY EMMA!

First Field Trip

Elia had her first field trip for school last Thursday.  They went to the Toledo Zoo for a program on bugs.  The past month they had been talking about bugs so they ended the theme with a trip to the zoo.  The kids seemed like they had a good time and we were able to enjoy the zoo after the bug program.  It was a fun field trip!  I did not get a lot of pictures but here are few cute ones from the day.
