9 Month Appointment

Emma was to the doctor yesterday for her 9 month check-up and we have a growing girl.  Emma is now up to 19 lbs 3 oz (52%) and is 28.94 inches (86%).  The doctor said Emma is looking great and growing perfectly.  Developmentally Emma is right on track and she thinks Emma will be walking before she turns one.  Emma has been cruising along the couch and other furniture now and she has been pushing around the walker toy we have.  She still does not stand alone in the middle of the floor but she is getting closer.  Emma will be having x-rays and seeing the orthopedic doctor in a few weeks to check on her hips.  I will keep everyone updated after that appointment.

4th of July Fun

We had a fun 4th of July. On Sunday the 4th we visited Great-Grandma Bird and then went swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Bronson's neighbors. Later at night Elia did some sparklers and poppers. On Monday we celebrated the day in Grandville watching the parade, going to the carnival, swimming again and then watching fireworks.

9 Months

WOW, Emma is 9 months old today!  It is so hard to believe that in 3 short months we will be celebrating her first birthday.  She is growing so fast and changing each and every day.  It is so fun watching her accomplish so many new things and discovering new things.  She definitely is keeping us busy.

*Emma is on the move.  She can crawl so good now and is very fast.  She definitely keeps me chasing her.

*She has mastered stair climbing.  She loves to climb the stairs and will try to make her way to them anytime she can get to them.  If she can't get to them she gets MAD! :)

*Emma is pulling herself up onto everything. 

*She is still a great eater and seems to like almost every thing she eats.

*Emma loves to chase Elia and play with her when she can.  They love to play music together and balls.  Emma gets the biggest grins when she sees Elia but also has a nice scream for her sometimes too. haha

*Emma is saying MAMA now and continues to say dada and sometimes what sounds like Elia.

*Still only 2 teeth but if her sleep pattern is any sign I think she may be getting more soon.

*Emma went to her second movie this month, Toy Story 3 and slept the entire movie.

*She watched her first fireworks and parade.  She seemed to enjoy them. :)

9 month doctor appointment in 2 weeks.  I am excited to see how much she has grown in the last couple of months.
